when roads led to duffys
Long before our game days filled an entire bar and our tailgates became a tradition, the North Jersey Bills Backers had humble beginnings. Back in 2005, our founder Sid, would watch games with just a few fellow Bills fan at an Irish Pub in Paterson, NJ. Season after Season, fans discovered they weren't alone.
For years, Duffy's served as our game day home base. It was where unforgettable victories were celebrated, heartbreaking losses were endured together, and lifelong friendships were built. Every season added another chapter to our story and helped shape the club into what it is today.
It’s where we experienced the ending of the 17-year playoff draft, the beginning of Josh Allen’s career, and “13 seconds” (if you know, you know). Not only did our crew grow, but so did the bar!
Duffy’s went as far as expanding their pub offering room for more tables and a stunning outdoor patio to enjoy the warmer parts of the season. 2003 Sidney couldn’t have predicted that his small group of fans could possibly grow so big that it filled up this new space…but it sure did.
Big ideas, real impact.
Friendships formed, traditions were created, and what started as a small gathering slowly grew into a community. Duffy's became more than just a place to watch football—it became the birthplace of the Northern NJ Bills Backers.
While we've since found a new home, we'll never forget where it all began. We are incredibly grateful to Duffy's for welcoming us and giving our club a place to grow during those early years. Every great tradition has a starting point…

In 2023, the next chapter of our story began when we proudly made Stone & Rail in Glen Rock, NJ our new home.
While the location may have changed, the heart of our club never did. The same friendships, traditions, and love for the Bills continue to bring us together. From our first days at Duffy's to where we are today, our home may evolve, but our family continues to grow.
